Charter a private jet from or to Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL)

Summary - Airport Information

Oslo Gardermoen Airport is located 20 miles northeast of the city of Oslo and within easy reach of the many conference facilities and businesses of the Norwegian capital. Your driver can get you to the centre of Oslo in around 40 minutes, or a helicopter charter service can be used to get you to Bergen to the west in a fairly short flight.
As Oslo Gardermoen’s General Aviation Terminals are not 24 hours, we suggest that you might consider Torp Airport, located around half an hour away.

History

The site has been used as an airfield since 1920. After significant damage sustained during World War II, the airport was completely rebuilt to accommodate 2 runways and international flights started to use the airport. Oslo Gardermoen Airport was in competition with Oslo’s other Airport, Fornebu, but Fornebu was up to capacity and there was no room for expansion. The local government decided to transform Gardermoen and make it Oslo’s premier airport. The work was completed in 1998, including a high speed train line built to Oslo city centre.
