Advisor – Tim Richards
In 1999, Tim left Warner Bros. Studio in Los Angeles to start a new international cinema exhibition company. Vue Entertainment has grown quickly to over 150 state-of-the-art multiplex cinemas in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Germany, Taiwan, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Portugal, with over 70 million customers a year.
In 2006 Tim was awarded the UK Overall Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and Individual of the Year by Leisure Report. In 2007 the Hollywood Reporter named Tim as one of the top five entertainment innovators of the Year. In 2008, the Independent newspaper named Tim as one of the “20 Most Influential People in Film”. Tim is also a frequent guest on national and international television and radio shows as an industry commentator.
Over the course of the past 24 years in cinema exhibition, Tim has acquired extensive international development and operational experience in over 14 major international markets in Europe, South America, Australia and Asia. Before entering the entertainment industry, Tim was a Wall Street lawyer engaged in international finance and cross-border mergers and acquisitions while based in London and New York.
Founder and CEO – Clive Jackson
Victor was founded by Clive, borne out of a frustration with commercial air travel and the antiquated jet charter broker industry and thanks to his unique blend of creative vision and deep technical knowledge. For the past twenty years Clive, a serial entrepreneur, has been at the very forefront of the digital revolution developing innovative web services for luxury brands, financial services, technology and media.
Clive founded Global Beach, one of the UK’s leading digital agencies, in 1993 providing design and build web services to many Fortune 500 and FTSE 250 Companies, working with brands such as Bentley Motors, the American Automobile Association, Britvic, Canon, Casio, The Daily Telegraph, The Financial Times, Hewlett Packard, ITN Source, Jaguar Cars, The Law Society and Unilever. In 2001 he spun out Autotorq.com, a new business providing bespoke dealer marketing and services to automotive manufacturers and their dealer networks across 26 countries.
Senior Vice President, North America – David Young
After rising to the top at Sentient Jet, in 2012, David embarked on a new mission with the launch of YoungJets. The innovative Founder of YoungJets, the private jet charter services provider for many of the world’s biggest music tours and live events was acquired by Victor in 2015. By its second year in operation YoungJets received the coveted “Air Charter Company of the Year” Award presented by TourLink, an association of the world’s leading live events and touring production professionals. As Victor’s senior vice president David will lead the seasoned YoungJets team through the company integration and Victor’s US market expansion. A lifelong entrepreneur, prior to his career in private aviation, David created the country’s first clean-fuel car service in 2004 and he started his career handling VIPs in 1994 running a music artist management firm. Among the many accolades, music acts under David’s management gathered RIAA’s Gold Record and Billboard’s Rock Song of the Year awards.
Commercial and Operations Director – Mike Ryan
With over 25 years’ experience in the aviation industry, Mike heads up the Victor Commercial and Flight Operations team. He is responsible for the contractual and operational processes for Victor members, sourcing the best Operators, prices, advising on aircraft types and ensuring the flight meets member expectations, managing our supplier aircraft operators. Following a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mike worked in the oil industry and then moved into aviation, designing flight controls, with Fairey Aviation. He spent 15 years with British Aerospace selling and leasing aircraft on the 146 Programme. In 2004 he became the Marketing Director at a private aircraft operator, and in 2006 he set up One Charter, an operator taking advantage of the new markets created by the Very Light Jets. He has been with Victor since its inception and provides invaluable and experienced advice to the company and members.
Product Director – James Farley
James is responsible for defining the Victor online strategy to ensure that both consumers and operators enjoy the best and most innovative experience available in the marketplace. James has a background in corporate finance and is a specialist in business development strategy for TMT ventures. As an investor in disruptive offerings in this sector, he was involved in securing early stage financing for Victor and joined to help shape the business’s consumer and trade offerings. James brings a wealth of insights and knowledge in areas of data, enterprise software, user experience, social media and Web 3.0.
