- passengers with a C visa issued by Czechia, whose national comment section of the visa sticker includes SEZONNI. They must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result issued at most 4 days before arrival.
- passengers with a C visa issued by Czechia after 11 May 2020, whose national comment section of the visa sticker includes ZAMESTNANI, and their spouses and children if they have a visa and travel together with the holder of the C visa. They must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result issued at most 4 days before arrival.
- passengers with an official invitation and:
a. a Laissez-Passer issued by the United Nations to staff of the United Nations and subordinate agencies under the Convention on Privileges and Immunities of Specialised Agencies adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 21 November 1947 in New York; or
b. a Laissez-Passer issued by the European Union; or
c. a Laissez-Passer issued by the European Atomic Energy Community; or
d. a legitimacy certificate issued by the Secretary General of the Council of Europe.
- military personal with an official invitation and a military ID card together with a travel order, a travel warrant, or an individual or collective movement order.

History

Operations from the airport began in 1937, taking over from Kbely Airport due to insufficient capacity. During the late 1960’s the airport was seized by Soviet paratroopers, facilitating the deployment of troops for the invasion of Czechoslovakia. The airport has seen much expansion and modernisation since this time including a new runway and new terminals built in 1997 and 2006. The original terminal built in 1937 is used for VIP flights and state visits.
