 A completed 'Health Control Form' must be presented upon arrival.

 Residency permits and 'D' visas that expired after 14 December 2019 are accepted for entry. These documents are valid 6 months after the state of alarm has ended.

History

An aerodrome was opened on the site initially in 1915, but it wasn’t until 1919 that the first commercial flights operated from the airport. In 1945, work began to turn Sevilla Airport into a transoceanic airport, with the construction of 3 new runways. In 1956, the main runway was extended and in 1957, work was carried out on the airport terminal and control tower. In between 1971 and 1975, the terminal was further renovated and a new terminal was also built. In 1989, in preparation for the Seville Expo 92, a new terminal building, a new access road and a new control tower was built.
